About
Nessa Vahedian is an adjunct librarian at the College of DuPage and Joliet Junior College where she designs active learning experiences both in and out of the classroom. She holds and MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently pursuing at Ms. Ed. in Educational Technology from Northern Illinois University. Happiest working directly with students and faculty, she encourages curiosity and skepticism over cynicism.
Outside the library, Nessa is an unapologetically extroverted Midwest traveller. She has three furbabies: Istanbul (“Stan”), a Maine Coon, Tabriz, a crabby tabby, and NOLA a very catlike dog. She’s also a regular on the Wise Quacks trivia team.
